Skills / Qualification:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Qualification ( Finalist acceptable ) in Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
- Candidate who are working / have worked in medium to larger audit firms are preferred.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in internal audit and risk management will have an added advantage.
- Candidates should have strong knowledge of computerized accounting systems & ISO 9000 quality systems, possible acting as QMR.
- Team player, able to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess the mobility to carry out work in various locations.
Responsibilities :
- To implement internal audit and risk management system for the group.
- To review the effectiveness, adequacy and integrity of the system of internal controls in key risk areas and management information systems and ensure there are formalized and operating as laid down.
- To prepare annual internal audit according to annual internal audit plan.
- Prepare formal written reports on audit findings and recommendations.
- Conduct review for compliance with corporate policies, procedures and accounting standards, applicable laws, regulations, rules, directives and guidelines.
- Highlight area for improvement and propose recommendations and action plan to improve control systems.
- To carry out special projects and / or any other jobs / duties as determined by the Head of Corporate Function.
- Where required, compile reports and analysis of company performance, highlighting salient items for Head of Corporate Function and Directors.
- Under instruction of Head of Corporate Function, investigate & determine cause of variance & fluctuations ( including with budgets & plan ) with responsible person. Determine action plan to take and follow up with person responsible.
