Key Job Responsibilities:
- Review Welding Procedure Specification, Procedure Qualification Record.
- Review material certificate as per code requirement. Inspection of materials to ensure materials purchased as per approved drawings.
- Witnessed welder qualification test / Procedure qualification test/Mechanical test as per code requirement.
- Visual inspection on completed welds of structure / piping / pressure vessel
- Interpretation radiographic films and witnessed UT, PT/MPI test. Witnessed leak test of reinforcement pads welds.
- Witness hydrostatic test
- Review final documents /sign off reports
Technical Skill Requirements:
- Certified welding inspector either AWS or CSWIP.
- Comprehensive Oil & Gas onshore / offshore, Petrochemical, Power and Refineries Plants background related to welding works.
- Being conversant with all the matter related with welding and welding control and its application,
- Courses Certification from known Organization mainly related with welding and NDT.
- Knowledgeable and familiar with onshore/offshore oil/gas industry and engineering standards for the part relevant to the installation such as API, AWS, ASME, etc.
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to use a personal computer including Microsoft Office and E-mail system.
